Business Development Manager (Projects) - Midlands/South East/West

Due to extensive investment, new technology and product development in our successful Phoebe LED fittings range; we have an exciting opportunity to expand our external sales team with several project sales managers.

Description of the Role:

  • You'll manage & maintain relationships with existing accounts as well as increase revenue via new accounts.
  • Undertake project design work, lighting schemes, site visits and product presentations.
  • Hit agreed annual and monthly sales targets.
  • Provide support to your trade BDM colleagues and work on joint initiatives.
  • Carry out Energy surveys and end user's calls and provide ROI and business case analysis.
  • Supply required reports and information within agreed deadline.
  • Train customers on new products and upsell to new technology.

What we require from you:

  • Experience of working within the lighting market is essential.
  • An enthusiastic and smart approach with good negotiation skills.
  • Working knowledge of Relux or Dialux, Microsoft Office including; Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
  • Great presentation skills.
  • Be able to provide a successful record of sales achievements.
  • Knowledge of the LED fittings market would be an advantage.
